This annual event was created by the Legal Aid Society of Orange County (LASOC) to support its mission to provide free civil legal assistance to those that would not otherwise be able to afford an attorney: veterans that have been wrongfully denied government benefits; mothers and fathers, who are caring homemakers, facing child custody battles; seniors who have been cheated by scammers or abused by their caretakers; spouses and children who need protection from domestic violence; and homeless individuals that need assistance with legal issues to help them become self-sufficient.

LASOC has been serving Orange County and southeast Los Angeles for over 58 years.  Each day, LASOC provides free and low cost civil legal services to more than 200 people.
